As an AmeriCorps member, you will most likely serve your community full-time for one or two years, though part-time and summer options are available. You will receive a living allowance and other benefits while you serve, and an education award of up to $4,725 per year after completing your term of service. You may tutor children, weatherize low-income housing, construct nature trails, or take part in any number of meaningful service projects. You will receive extensive training and get help in developing a plan for your education or career. You will make a difference.
