Treasurer, Secretary, ect.) Establish an address (both snail mail AND email,
if possible) and phone number where you can be contacted by others interested
in joining.

Build links with pre-existing networks of people such as residents’
and tenants’ associations, local businesses, schools and youth clubs,
local political parties.
Knock on doors, or distribute information at a local mall. When meeting
people, say who you are and what your campaign is about. Explain why your
issue is important. Say what you hope to achieve. Explain why you need their
support.
Involve people by organizing a petition or demonstration. You could also
hold a meeting, or social event/fundraiser.
