JOB SUMMARY: The WV Commission for National and Community Service (Commission) is seeking candidates for an Executive Director (ED) position. This ED is responsible for the management and oversight of multiple federally funded grant programs administered by the Commission. Duties include (but are not limited to) implementation of Commission policies and strategies, program development and management, supervision and management of a 13 member staff, and collaborative efforts to build local, state and national partnerships. Position requires excellent oral and written communication skills, analytical skills, leadership and staff management skills, and experience in financial, budget and accounting applications.

EDUCATION: Master's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in social work, business or public administration, or a related field. Experience as described below may be substituted for the training requirement on a year-for-year basis. EXPERIENCE: Five (5) years of experience in the area of assignment. Applicants with managerial experience in volunteer and community service programs will be given preferential treatment. EEO Employer.
