In its initial year, the West Virginia BVC was fortunate to acquire the support of representatives and professionals from business, labor, government and non-profit associations and organizations who came together to support the initiative.

Initial supporters of the BVC understood it's potential to benefit all West Virginians by creating an understanding of the importance in employee volunteering and the opportunity to create lasting change in communities.
