What would you do in the event of a flood, fire, terrorist event, power outage or other emergency? How will you help yourself, your family and your community? Citizen Corps is a way for citizens to take an active part in emergency preparedness where they live and work. The Citizen Corps mission is “to harness the power of every individual through education, training, and volunteer service to make communities safer, stronger, and better prepared to respond to terrorism, crime, public health emergencies and disasters of all kinds.”
